National Grassroots Movement to Prioritize Children Will Gather on National Mall
(WASHINGTON D.C.) – The March for Kids, a grassroots movement defending parental rights and prioritizing children, will convene at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Thousands of grassroots activists hailing from across the country and from all walks of life will take part in this nonpartisan event to raise awareness of the need to protect the rights of parents to direct their children’s upbringing.
Preliminary coalition partners include: 9.17 Society, American Principles Project, Capitol Resource Institute, Colorado Parent Advocacy Network, Don’t Mess With Our Kids, Every Black Life Matters, For Kids And Country, Gays Against Groomers, The Heritage Foundation, Her Voice Movement, Leadership Institute, Liberty Leaders Unite, Liberty Sentinel, Moms for America, Moms for Liberty, Parents United America, Patriot Academy, Protect North Carolina Kids and the Southeastern Legal Foundation. A slate of speakers and additional coalition partners will be announced in the weeks ahead.
During The March for Kids, thousands of families will walk together around the Tidal Basin, concluding with a rally at the Jefferson Memorial featuring keynote speakers and entertainment. Attendees will be encouraged to either bring a yellow umbrella or wear yellow clothing to reinforce the necessity of children’s safety and signal optimism for a brighter future for America.
