Sponsorship Growth Demonstrates Growing Movement Supporting Parents’ Role in Policymaking

(WASHINGTON D.C.) – March for Kids, a grassroots movement defending parental rights and prioritizing children, announced today the addition of several prominent organizations to its growing list of coalition partners. These include Mercury One, Prager University Foundation, Jaco Booyens Ministries, Awake Illinois and Grandparents 4 Kids.

“For too-long, far-left activists have imposed a stranglehold on our media and educational systems, culminating in absurd policies that harm children and families,” Marissa Streit, CEO of PragerU, said. “We hope the public will join the March For Kids and stand up to political forces run amok in our society. America’s families and kids need us, and we must answer the call.”

Prager University Foundation is a non-profit organization that uses educational videos to help Americans of all ages develop a deeper understanding of the country’s history and values. Founded by media personality and March for Kids Captain Glenn Beck, Mercury One is a non-profit organization dedicated to “doing good by providing humanitarian aid, preserving heritage and empowering all to stand for truth,” from combatting domestic abuse to supporting America’s veterans. Jaco Booyens Ministries is an anti-trafficking charity that aims to prevent and help individuals heal from the horrors of sexual exploitation. Launched in 2020, Awake Illinois is a grassroots group spanning all four corners of their state that fights for the rights of communities and children. Grandparents 4 Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that mobilizes grandparents to champion their grandchildren’s rights and restore academic-focused learning in education.

“There’s a massive crisis going on in America. Children are exploited everyday online and lured into human trafficking due to the breakdown of the nuclear family. On August 31, we’re standing up for children and families to advocate for fundamental change in our society that puts families first the way God intended,” said Jaco Booyens, founder of Jaco Booyens Ministries.

March for Kids will convene at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. This nonpartisan event will raise awareness of the need to protect the rights of parents to direct their children’s upbringing. During The March for Kids, thousands of families and dozens of coalition partners will walk together around the Tidal Basin, concluding with a rally at the Jefferson Memorial featuring keynote speakers and entertainment.
